Leadership Focuses
-
Strategy
It all begins with an idea. Strong leadership means being able to take that idea and build a framework to communicate your vision to a wider audience.
-
Process
Once you build the framework, the strategy won’t come to life if there isn’t a structured plan to support the idea from inception all the way to execution.
-
Collaboration
Identifying key players to support the framework and implement the plan is crucial. We must be able to operate and take risks across teams to become more efficient and effective. We win as a team.
“Good leaders organize and align people around what the team needs to do. Great leaders motivate and inspire people with why they’re doing it.”
— Marillyn Hewson
Team Focuses
-
Creativity + Inspiration
Finding ways to inspire the team allows for new and innovative ways of thinking and working together. Creativity encourages taking risks, not being afraid of failure, and learning along the way.
-
Development
Helping each team member identify their super power and which experiences are needed to help them succeed in their role is crucial to personal growth and overall contribution to the team.
-
Communication
Driving clarity within a functional team will increase effective communication cross functionally. Being able to communicate a clear vision and purpose will help the collective team work towards a shared purpose and vision empowering them to make decisions and trust one another.
“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.”
— Phil Jackson
